There have been so many ridiculously good performances in waves of consequence, on unlikely equipment, that we shudder to consider only a few. Cory, Andy, and Wardo in 5’5″ 19 1/4; pretty much anytime Curren got on one; most recently, Ryan Burch’s show-stopper performance in Psychic Migrations, etc, etc.
Which is to say it should come as no surprise when really tuned in surfers toss a keel fin fish on a good wave strike, like French Caribbean heartthrob Willy Aliotti did on his last Indo jaunt, packing a Ryan Lovelace-shaped keel for the Deserts racetrack.
