Duncan McNichol Joins Insight

Though he stands with his right foot forward, and though he’s also from Newcastle, Duncan McNichol’s not like Craig Anderson or Ryan Callinan. The 21-year-old has just signed with Insight, and his surfing is unorthodox and creative – two of the main things that Insight are about. The Vimeo above is a lil’ welcome clip, and below is a coupla minutes’ footage that Dunc compiled on a recent trip to Byron Bay. Duncan’s one of those surfers who genuinely look as though they’re having fun in the soup, so don’t be surprised if this makes you wanna go play in some two foot slop
