If You Can Surf French Beach Breaks, Indo Is A Slice Of Clafoutis

Few places in the world are more technically difficult to surf than a European beachbreak. The combination of swell, current, and especially tide make these sandbars anything but user-friendly, however the pay-off for mastering their moods is robust.

First of all, you’re gonna find yourself in some proper fucking tubes.

Second, all the other places you surf will feel effortless in comparison.

Recently, a French kid by the name of Kyllian Guerin made his way over to Indonesia, where the waves (predictable and seamless) couldn’t be more juxtaposed to La Grav. Thanks to his years spent treading in turbulent waters, Kylian had big-name Indo spots dialed within a matter of hours, which comes through clearly in his new clip, “Souvenirs”.

Train hard, play easy.
