There is something novel and endearing about a clip where the jet-ski is kept alongside a cow, pints of Guinness are chugged down to carbo-load for a day of heaving swell and the glory belongs to guys with names like Ollie O’Flaherty and Gearoid McDaid. It takes a little while to get there but it’s worth the wait to see Ireland’s slab crew hurling themselves in the path of hollow monsters at Riley’s. It’s good craic as the Irish lads might say.
